Papers from the Main track, Doctoral Consortium and Posters and Demos track will be published via IOS press under CC BY-NC license with open access. The publication will receive a DOI and be included in the Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (FAIA) book series.
The FAIA series is indexed in ACM Digital Library; DBLP; EI Compendex; Google Scholar; Scopus; Web of Science: Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Science (CPCI-S) and Book Citation Index – Science (BKCI-S); Zentralblatt MATH.
Submission Instructions
All submissions must be written in English and double-blind, except for extended abstracts of published journal papers.
Writing for double-blind reviews means that no trace of the author’s identity is present throughout the paper. In order to achieve this, please ensure the following steps are followed:
- Substitute your name and affiliation from the first page with the tracking number.
- Do not include an Acknowledgment section.
- Cite your prior work in third person.
It is the author’s responsibility to ensure submissions enable double-blind reviewing.
All submissions should adhere to IOS formatting guidelines. You can choose either the MsWord or the LaTeX template.
The abstract of the paper must be a maximum of 200 words.
All work should be submitted in PDF format via Easychair.
Only contributions for which both abstract and papers have been submitted will undergo the review process.

- Adaptive human-AI co-learning and co-creation
- Learning, reasoning and planning with humans and machines in the loop
- User modeling and personalisation
- Integration of learning and reasoning
- Transparent, explainable, and accountable AI
- Fair, ethical, responsible, and trustworthy AI
- Societal awareness of AI
- Multimodal machine perception of real-world settings
- Social signal processing
- Representations learning for Communicative or Collaborative AI
- Symbolic representations for human-centric AI
- Human-AI Coevolution
- Foundation models and humans
- Human cognition-aware AI
- Decentralized human-AI systems
- Reliability and robustness in human-AI systems
- Applications of hybrid human-AI intelligence
We welcome contributions about all types of technology, from robots and conversational agents to multi-agent systems and machine learning models.
Workshop and Tutorial Track
The papers sent to the Workshop and Tutorial Track follow specific guidelines, read more about them in the specific sections of the website.
A collected volume of HHAI 2025 Workshop and Tutorial proceedings will be compiled under the CEUR-WS umbrella after the conference, which, while not mandatory, we encourage workshops to contribute to.
Policies
Submissions of full and working papers should be original work and ideas without substantial overlap with pre-published papers. Extended abstracts can present previously published work.
On acceptance, at least 1 author should attend the conference. A significant contribution is expected from all authors. A justification of contributions in the paper is appreciated.
All studies involving human participants should have received human-research ethics consent from the relevant institutions and mention this in the paper.
