We organised HHAI2022 as a sustainable event. While many of the choices we made try to limit impact on climate as much as possible, we believe this is a goal that we will achieve altogether. We therefore ask participants to help us, too.
The steps we made:
- All conference material (programme and sponsor-related) will be digital
- Food will be vegetarian and regional/fair-trade grown as much as possible
- Unnecessary food packaging and single use cans and plastic bottles will be avoided
- Leftover food will be collected and brought home by staff (and yourself, if you want)
- Energy consumption will be reduced by lowering the building temperature and maximising natural light
The steps you can make:
- Bring your refillable water bottle,
- Use public transports, walking or bike routes to come to the venue
- Reuse tableware if possible
- Unplug your devices when charged
